Satisfactory Academic Progress

• Students at UNVA are required to maintain satisfactory academic progress toward the completion of their degree. Academic progress is defined using both quantitative and qualitative measures.

• A minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 is required in addition to completing the program within a specific time frame.

• Students need to complete their program within 1.5 times the declared length of the program. Incompletes (I), withdrawal from a class (W), and failing grades do not reflect satisfactory academic progress.

• Progress is reviewed at the end of each quadmester.
