Within ten (10) calendar days of receipt of the Department Chair's letter, the student may appeal the instructor's determination of the academic action and/or the Department Chair's administrative penalty. An appeal of the Department Chair's administrative penalty shall be directed to the Vice President for Academic Affairs. If there are other kinds of complaints submitted by students, the Department Chair will discuss them with the Vice President for Academic Affairs to determine the organization of an appropriate committee to deal with the complaint.
