This handbook provides guidance and information to students attending the University of Northern Virginia. It includes information about services and programs available as well as policies and procedures that should be followed by students. This book is a valuable resource; use it to enhance the educational experience at UNVA.
UNVA rules, regulations, and policies applicable to students are published in this student handbook and other student-related publications. Since the student handbook and other student-related publications may be revised trimester to trimester, it is the responsibility of the student to obtain revisions from the division of student life. Copies of these publications and all revisions are available to all students through the Office of Student Services. Students who wish to file a grievance or lodge a complaint but are unable to determine what procedure to follow in these publications should write the Director of Student Services.
