Questions about Tuition and Fees:
Q: Who pays for my tuition?
A: Each student is responsible to pay for his/her own tuition and living expenses. Until the students obtain employment income which they can use to pay their expenses, the students must pay for tuition and living expenses from their own resources they bring with them from their home countries.
Q: Are there any fees for joining the CPT program”? Do I need to pay any fees before I obtain my
I-20?
A: There is an application fee and an administrative CPT Program fee of $3,050. If you are applying from outside of the United States, there is an administrative deposit that needs to be paid in order for us to issue an I-20 and admission letter. Please refer to the Tuition and Fees page for detailed information.
Q: Can I earn enough money to cover my personal expenses and also my tuition costs during the program? Or do I have to bring money with me from my home country?
A: That can only be determined by what type of internship position you obtain and how much you will be paid per hour. For example, if you earn $10.00 per hour in a full time job, you would earn more than $1,500 per month. This would probably be sufficient to pay for most of your tuition and personal expenses. However, you should have at least $12,000 available when you arrive at the school, in the event that you choose not to join the CPT program or in the event that you cannot find satisfactory employment.
