Bachelor of Science Degrees: Block Transfer Program
   
For those who block transfer into an undergraduate program at UNVA, the English Proficiency Requirements for all students apply. Further, to graduate it will be necessary to earn a total of 120 credit hours (including those credits transferred in and accepted by UNVA) with a minimum Grade Points Average of 2.0.

It also will be necessary to satisfy all major requirements (at least 30 credits) and to earn at least 36 credits in undergraduate General Studies courses.

Example: a student with an Associate’s Degree may transfer in 24 General Studies credits. For such a student 12 more credits, or four classes, would be needed to meet the total General Studies requirement of 36 credits.
 
 A special set of General Studies courses frequently are made available for transfer students. They are offered in addition to the regular UNVA General Studies courses:
