For those who block transfer into an undergraduate program at UNVA,
the English Proficiency Requirements for all students apply. Further, to
graduate it will be necessary to earn a total of 120 credit hours
(including those credits transferred in and accepted by UNVA) with a
minimum Grade Points Average of 2.0. It also will be necessary to satisfy all major requirements (at least 30 credits) and to earn at least 36 credits in undergraduate General Studies courses. Example: a student with an Associate’s Degree may transfer in 24 General Studies credits. For such a student 12 more credits, or four classes, would be needed to meet the total General Studies requirement of 36 credits. |

A special set of General Studies courses frequently are
made available for transfer students. They are offered in addition to
the regular UNVA General Studies courses: ARTH 300, 301 Survey of Western Art I, II COMM 300 Interpersonal and Group Interaction COMM 401 Foundations of Intercultural Communication COMM 403 Business and Professional Communication EVSC 105, 106 Environmental Science I, II GOVT 300 Introduction to American Government GOVT 303 Comparative Politics HIST 301 The United States Since WW II HIST 400 History of Western Civilization MATH 231 Calculus I MATH 331 Calculus II PSCH 301 Industrial and Organizational Psychology PSCH 302 Social Psychology PSCH 403 Personnel Training and Development: A Psychological Perspective SOCI 101 Introductory Sociology SOCI 301 Problems in the Global Society SOCI 401 Sociology of Work STAT 300, 401 Introductory Statistics I, II Ten of the following courses (30 credits) may be taken by transfer students to meet the Major Requirements of Business Administration.
